Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry best practices.
  • Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with great attention to detail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Learn continuous improvement methodologies (i.e., PPI, Six Sigma, and others) and help promote improvement initiatives.
  • Align with all company safety, training, and quality regulations (i.e. ISO compliance, GLP/GMP requirements, etc.) and procedures.
  • Execute experimental plans, analyze data, and contribute to technical reports and product summaries.
  • Investigate new methods/technologies and maintain accurate lab notebook to support protection of intellectual property in accordance with relevant Thermo Fisher required standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other functions including Business Development, Quality, Operations, Technical Services, and/or Marketing in the commercialization of new products.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate student completing an Engineering or Life Sciences-related degree between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
  • Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
  • Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.00–$24.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
