Position Summary:
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is in search of a Senior Acquisition Program Analyst (APA) with expertise in acquisition life cycle logistics to provide support for a pivotal Air Force Program under the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ). The role aims to deliver specialized knowledge that enhances the organization's capabilities for effective mission execution, innovation introduction, and technical skill enhancement.
The contractor will engage in comprehensive acquisition and sustainment activities necessary to support various Government entities.
Note: This position allows for telework, with a requirement for on-site presence 2-3 days a week, subject to mission needs. An active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, assess, and digitally organize documentation, briefings, reports, and other materials utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
- Assist in the development and execution of methods, procedures, best practices, and techniques related to product support and logistics.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and responses to official inquiries for senior DAF and DoD organizations.
- Support the review and publication of Air Force policies across various functional areas, including life cycle logistics and supply chain management.
- Analyze and provide recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, and program documentation.
- Deliver impartial evaluations of programs nearing milestone decisions and related documentation.
- Research and analyze trends in logistics and product support programs, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Provide data for legislative hearings, program documentation, and briefing packages to ensure a cohesive Air Force response.
- Support the HAF review process, collaborating with auditors on findings and ensuring proper follow-up.
- Handle confidential and classified information with discretion.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned in relation to the duties outlined above.
Qualifications:
- Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Acquisition and Life Cycle Acquisition within a System Program Office or Air Force Headquarters.
- Strong understanding of DoD protocols.
- Proficiency in project management, research analysis, and experience in product support and logistics planning.
- Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Relevant work experience may substitute for educational qualifications as per contract stipulations.
Work Experience Substitutions:
12 years of relevant experience may replace a Master's degree.
A Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for a Master's degree.
