Quality Inspector Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team at SQA Services. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of complex cable and harness assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual inspections of multiple breakout wiring harnesses, ribbon cables, and panel assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and workmanship standards.
  • Verify rework conducted during the inspection process and conduct in-process and final inspections as necessary.
  • Use standard hand tools to validate measurements and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on inspection experience in cable and harness assemblies or similar components.
  • Familiarity with multiple types of harness assemblies, including braided, discrete wiring, coil cord, and electromechanical subassemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with tools like micrometers, calipers, and indicators for precision measurements.
  • Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel to the Galena, Kansas area.
  • US Citizenship is required, and candidates must pass a criminal background check.
