Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. As a key member of our cross-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and test of space vehicles. Your expertise in systems engineering will be instrumental in driving the success of our national security space program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage system requirements, interfaces, and verification/validation plans.
- Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
- Collaborate with program, functional, and subsystem leads to ensure seamless communication and interface definition.
- Support trade studies, system performance assessments, mission analysis, and timelines, as well as CONOPS development.
- Prepare review and briefing material for working group meetings, reviews, and program status.
- Provide on-floor support for integration, testing, and operational readiness of spacecraft and payloads.
- BS Engineering Degree and 2+ years of experience or Master's degree.
- Self-starter with strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to understand system and subsystem interactions.
- Previous engineering experience on space programs or satellite operations.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering functions.
- Must have U.S. Citizenship with active or current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
- Experience in space systems, spacecraft design, or mission operations.
- Experience in requirements development, decomposition, and allocation.
- Understanding of spacecraft/space system integration & test, launch, and/or mission operations.
- Experience in requirements management, system architecture, and CONOPs development.
- Requirements Management Tools such as DOORS, and various analysis engineering tools, such as MATLAB.
