As a Certified Medical Assistant - Pulmonary, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Naperville, IL clinic. Under the supervision of a clinic supervisor, you will prepare patients for physical examinations, obtain specimens, conduct routine laboratory tests, and perform phlebotomy and diagnostic tests. Your clinical and administrative skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for physical examinations and obtain specimens as needed
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and record results
• Perform phlebotomy and diagnostic tests under delegated supervision of a physician
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants highly preferred
• At least one year of clinical experience required for non-certified candidates
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Valid driver's license required for off-site duties; automobile liability coverage must be maintained
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
