Position Overview
At HealthMed Pro Solutions, we are looking for a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those with behavioral health challenges. The technician will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviors and assisting clients in achieving their personal goals within community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Support:
- Monitor and assist individuals in accordance with their personalized support plans.
- Help with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and hygiene.
- Facilitate community engagement activities, such as attending medical appointments and navigating social services.
- Documentation:
- Ensure all necessary records are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer and internet usage.
- Prior experience in the human services sector is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Must successfully complete all employment screenings, including any applicable background checks.
Additional Information:
- This role does not involve medication administration.
- Direct interaction with minors is not part of this position.
