StrideCare is a healthcare management company seeking a skilled Medical Front Office Coordinator to support the smooth operation of daily clinic activities in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing exceptional patient care and performing various administrative tasks to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients with a positive attitude, ensuring a comfortable experience from the start.
  • Conduct chart preparations, register new patients, update existing records, and verify insurance authorization to maintain accurate patient information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently, minimizing wait times and optimizing appointment slots.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff, while maintaining a neat and organized front desk area.
  • Collect payments from patients, prepare payment plans as needed, and reconcile transactions at the end of each day.
  • Cross-train to acquire proficiency in various clinic functions, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as generating reports for marketing or patient communication.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; relevant customer service experience preferred, especially in a healthcare-related setting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a front office associate/receptionist in a physician's office or hospital.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, health care insurance, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Proficient use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift moderately heavy items, maintain good manual dexterity, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and requirements.
