Power Quality Expert

We are seeking a Power Quality Expert to join our team at Arizona Public Service. As a Power Quality Expert, you will investigate customer complaints associated with power quality and reliability, and provide technical guidance to others as needed.

You will perform advanced technical tasks, including load flow, protection & short circuit analysis, and voltage studies to support new customer additions and integration of distributed energy resources and distribution automation technologies.

The estimated salary for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development, a comprehensive compensation package, and hybrid work arrangements.

This role requires a four-year Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science discipline from an ABET accredited institution, plus two (2) years working experience in Engineering-related positions. Preferred qualifications include problem analysis/resolution techniques, knowledge of applicable codes, standards, practices, methods and safety standards in the area of applicable engineering discipline.
