Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Aerospace Quality Inspector to perform first piece, in-process, and final-out inspections. The ideal candidate will have strong manual CMM and surface plate lay-out skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection on intricate and precision machined, sheet metal, and formed tube parts.
  • Review, edit, and generate inspection reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Read and comprehend written documents, such as work instructions and job aids.
  • Knowledge of proper inspection techniques to obtain accurate measurements.
  • Support business needs, including attendance, overtime, punctuality, and shift requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous inspection experience, with a focus on aerospace.
  • Strong math skills and ability to accurately use and read measuring tools.
  • Experience with gauge calibration and manual CMM and surface plate lay-out skills.
  • Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office computer skills and quality systems requirements.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
