Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center.

Job SummaryThe Transplant and Cellular Therapy Clinic at St. David's South Austin Medical Center is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and innovative treatments for adults facing blood cancer and hematologic disorders in the Central Texas region.
In partnership with Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, we are proud to be the only FACT accredited facility in Austin, Texas.
As an Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in the care of blood and marrow transplant patients, as well as those with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, considering age-related factors and principles of death and dying when necessary
- Provide emotional, spiritual, religious, and cultural support to patients and their significant others
- Apply principles of oncology nursing to ensure optimal patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Provider certification preferred

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
