Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of technicians, manage work assignments, training, and performance to optimize equipment uptime.

The ideal candidate will have electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic expertise to troubleshoot complex issues, improve preventive maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Supervises work assignment and personnel performance of staff technicians; hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates staff.
  • Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  • Requisitions and keeps a supply of spare parts.
  • Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
  • Studies production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Interprets company policies for workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant environment.
  • Must have a very strong industrial electrical knowledge in motor control, VFD, and PLC.
  • Additional mechanical, welding, refrigeration, and plumbing knowledge preferred.
