Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixology Expert to join our team at JACKMONT HOSPITALITY INC. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ID and Serve: Identify and serve Guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
  • Bar Atmosphere: Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area, ensuring Guests feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to Guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Personalized Service: Provide a personal touch to repeat Guests, learning their names and favorite drinks to enhance their experience.
  • Food Coordination: Coordinate food orders from Guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen staff.
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the menu and make recommendations to Guests when appropriate.
  • Upselling: Upsell Guests on food or drink items where relevant, increasing average ticket sales.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to company standards.
  • POS Operations: Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Brand Standards: Adhere to all relevant brand standards for service, ensuring a consistent and exceptional Guest experience.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Appearance and Attire: Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to company-approved uniform standards.
  • Technical Skills: Operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and process credit card transactions efficiently.
  • Conflict Resolution: Calmly respond to angry Guests and notify a Manager as needed.
  • Bar Validation: Pass bar validation requirements.
  • Communication: Respond clearly to Guests' requests and needs.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry short distances, up or down stairs.
  • Criminal Background Check: Pass the 10-year federal background check (TSA) requirement.
