As a key member of the JACKMONT HOSPITALITY INC team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines to guests, adhering to standard recipes and company policies.
- Guest Engagement: Develop a warm and welcoming atmosphere, engaging with guests to understand their preferences and make recommendations.
- Food Coordination: Coordinate food orders from guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen staff.
- Upselling and Merchandising: Upsell food or drink items to guests where appropriate, promoting the company's offerings.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Point of Sale Operations: Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system, handling cash, credit card transactions, and making change correctly.
- Brand Standards: Adhere to all relevant brand standards for service, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for guests.
Requirements:
- Appearance and Grooming: Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to the company's uniform standards.
- Technical Skills: Operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and process credit card transactions.
- Communication and Conflict Resolution: Respond calmly and professionally to guest complaints, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Physical Demands: Frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry them short distances, up or down stairs.
- Certifications and Background Checks: Pass the 10-year federal background check (TSA) and maintain any required certifications.
