Participant Experience Coordinator

As a key member of our team, the Participant Experience Coordinator will provide exceptional customer service to our participants, families, and visitors at the PACE center. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Provide receptionist support to the PACE center, including answering phones, screening calls, and directing visitors.
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for participants, ensuring proper identification and supplies are transported to their homes.
- Order and manage incontinence supplies, center supplies, and office supplies as needed.
- Distribute incoming mail and send outgoing mail to the business office as required.
- Communicate effectively with administration, departments, medical staff, participants, and community members.
- Problem-solve and follow through on issues to completion, maintaining confidentiality and a safe working environment.
- Participate in team-oriented processes and assist other support personnel as needed.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Business school or related secretarial experience preferred.
- Computer literacy and typing skills required.
- Two years of receptionist experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Complete knowledge of office procedures and ability to learn new software programs.
- Desire to work in a healthcare environment with a frail elderly population and their families.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and minimum state required liability auto insurance.
- Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before engaging in direct participant contact.
- Pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- Computer literacy, Microsoft applications, and typing skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize new software programs.
- Sound organizational skills, ability to multitask, and accomplish assignments within established timeframes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants, co-workers, medical staff, and the public.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Work effectively with culturally, economically, and educationally diverse populations.
- Strong customer service skills with all encounters.
