About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team at Wellpath, a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing quality care to underserved populations. As a Psychologist, you will play a critical role in delivering clinical mental health services to inmate patients in a correctional or detention facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and consultation services consistent with professional standards and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Conduct direct clinical services, including diagnosis, treatment, psychological testing, and crisis intervention.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards of care and participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Develop and implement goals and objectives for clinical services and assist in staff recruitment and selection.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of serious incidents and provide professional education and staff development as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Doctorate in psychology and experience with mental health delivery systems.
  • Significant professional experience in the mental field, indicating knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological assessment instruments.
  • Licensed to practice psychology in the State of employment by the appropriate state licensing agency.
