Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Prestressed Concrete Inspector to join our team at HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. As a Prestressed Concrete Inspector, you will be responsible for performing shop inspections for precast concrete products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of precast concrete products to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
- Verify that products meet specifications and requirements
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and findings
Requirements:
- Valid PCI Level II or III certification issued by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute
- ACI Certified Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1 certification
- Experience with prestressed concrete inspection, particularly for transportation and bridge projects
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Physical activity includes: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time
- Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
- Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
