Key Responsibilities
  • Protect assets from fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
  • Implement company policies and procedures while providing assistance to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and the public.
  • Serve as a presence in public areas and parking facilities, welcoming and directing visitors, escorting guests, and addressing inquiries while monitoring for potential security threats.
  • Assist in maintaining order and security, reporting any violations or issues to management.
  • Conduct visual inspections of company property to ensure items are undamaged and accounted for, documenting findings and alerting supervisors to any discrepancies.
  • Manage visitor access through designated entry points, oversee alarm systems and surveillance equipment, and maintain logs and reports relevant to security operations.
  • Patrol company grounds, both interior and exterior, to identify safety and security concerns, manage access points, and control lighting.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing assistance as necessary and notifying appropriate personnel or agencies.
  • Document incidents occurring on company premises, collaborating with management and local authorities as needed.
  • Control lighting and access at the start of business hours, allowing entry to authorized personnel.
  • Secure doors, vaults, and gates as required.
  • Manage lighting and security measures, checking safes and securing windows.
  • Oversee flag protocols as required.
  • Provide security services during special events held on-site.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly assigned area, including reporting maintenance needs to custodial services.
  • Document and return any found items to the appropriate channels.
  • Ensure only authorized individuals access restricted areas, detaining unauthorized persons as necessary.
  • Monitor alarm systems and electronic surveillance for any irregularities.
  • Report hazardous conditions and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel immediately.
  • Conduct package inspections to prevent theft and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications

Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months in security or a related field
