Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of construction projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prioritize site safety for all assigned projects, adhering to our rigorous safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety.
- Strategically plan and schedule projects to maximize construction efficiency.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project teams and subcontractors.
- Facilitate productive meetings with diverse groups, including team members, subcontractors, clients, and architects.
- Thoroughly understand all project documentation, including plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
- Coordinate necessary inspections with local authorities and utilities.
- Implement the company's Quality Control program, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs and safety reports.
- Participate in Foreman meetings, safety meetings, and project staff meetings.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to effectively resolve construction-related issues.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (additional qualifications are advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction with a General Contractor
- At least 3 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing project teams
- Extensive experience with large-scale multifamily and mixed-use developments (200+ units)
- Proficient in MS Project (or similar software) and Microsoft Office Suite
