Role Summary:

Are you enthusiastic about patient support and enabling individuals to lead active lifestyles? As a vital member of the Field Services Team, you will significantly contribute to Enovis's mission of advancing the medical technology sector by enhancing patient care and improving outcomes. We are in search of a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to patient support in an orthopedic context and experience in Durable Medical Equipment to join the Surgi-Care division of Enovis as a Field Service Representative in the Boston / South Shore / Southcoast, MA area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment alongside exceptionally skilled professionals dedicated to pioneering innovations in orthopedics and beyond, represented by brands such as DonJoy, Aircast, ProCare, and Exos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the application, education, and proper usage/care of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, and bone growth stimulators, along with all other Enovis products prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Manage assigned territory, including brace fittings in patient residences and servicing designated office accounts.
  • Deliver routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and other clinical personnel.
  • Ensure that the equipment provided to patients is functioning correctly and aligns with the prescribing physician's orders and other identified patient needs.
  • Conduct inventory management and participate in necessary audits.
  • Verify patient benefits utilizing automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibilities.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
  • Comply with all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, and HIPAA requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for delivering exceptional care to healthcare professionals and patients, along with a commitment to being part of a team focused on achieving outstanding patient results.
  • At least 2 years of experience in direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training environment, or related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must meet third-party credentialing/screening requirements to access hospital accounts.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance is required.
  • In-home equipment delivery and setup are essential aspects of this position, and candidates should be comfortable with this requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Holds and maintains relevant professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related qualifications.
  • Familiarity with home medical equipment (HME), Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and orthotic products.

Work Environment | Physical Demands:

  • Provides patient care in various settings, including physician's offices, hospitals, patient homes, and clinics.
  • This position may involve potential exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
  • Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Travel Requirements: Requires travel up to 95% of the time, using personal transportation.
