We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient registration process, providing exceptional care to our patients, and facilitating efficient reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient access services for ancillary, diagnostic, surgical, and emergency services, ensuring efficient operations and expeditious reimbursement.
- Act as a liaison between INTEGRIS and patients, providers, and payers for all pre-care matters related to account resolution.
- Assist patients in understanding their coverage benefits and coverage terminology.
- Collaborate with the Patient Registration team to ensure accurate and timely registration of patients.
- 1 year of experience in patient access operations, scheduling, registration, insurance, billing, collections, or related fields.
- Previous experience in scheduling, registration, insurance, billing, collections, and customer service in a hospital or physician's office setting.
- College coursework in a related field or healthcare certification (AAHAM CRCS, HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA) preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others in English (verbal/written).
