Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The selected candidates will be eligible for a $3,000 SIGNING BONUS and a $4,000 annual CDL Stipend (if applicable).
This position is approved for a Voluntary Career Progression program that allows employees to be advanced to the appropriate next level position within their current division.
As an Equipment Operator II, you will utilize your skills to:
- Operate backhoes, crane trucks, excavators, and vacuum trucks.
- Repair water mains; repair, replace, or install fire hydrants and water valves.
- Technical work relating to the repair, installation, and maintenance of a Water Distribution Systems and the Department of Public Utilities.

Requirements
- Requires a valid driver's license and a driving record that is in compliance with the.
- A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Ability to add a tank truck endorsement within six months of hire, if you do not already have it.
- In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standard, this position requires a minimum of six months of related, full-time equivalent experience.
