Job Title: Concrete Field Superintendent

Clayton Homes, a leading housing provider and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a skilled Concrete Field Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and driving concrete activities on our projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to completion, adhering to our construction schedule and ensuring zero defects.
  • Coordinate with trade partners to deliver high-quality projects within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Establish and maintain a clean and safe jobsite for trade partners, customers, and municipalities.
  • Enforce OSHA safety requirements and our company's safety program.
  • Cross-train with other associates to learn new skills and scopes for advancement.
  • Develop a commitment to our quality improvement process and philosophy of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and respond to customer needs actively and sensitively.
  • Participate as a team player in all phases of the organization and be open to change.
  • Complete required training programs for all scopes within our company.
  • Order and inspect materials delivered to the site.
  • Provide daily updates through our iPad and laptop systems.
  • Learn to read construction plans as needed by scope.
  • Approve pay, invoicing, and billings.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family, and commercial construction.
  • Concrete/installation skills and knowledge of residential fit and finish installations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and self-confidence.
  • Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows, Office, Excel, Adobe, and general internet).
  • Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs independently.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • 10-Hour OSHA certification (required within 3 months of hire).

Compensation:

$73,000/year
