Job Title: Concrete Field Superintendent

Clayton Homes, a leading housing provider and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a skilled Concrete Field Superintendent to join our team. As a Concrete Field Superintendent, you will play a critical role in managing and driving concrete activities on our projects, ensuring quality products are delivered on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to completion, adhering to the Heibar Construction Schedule.
  • Deliver projects with zero defects, with supervision from the Construction Manager.
  • Manage Trade Partners to deliver high-quality projects while meeting budgets.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure issues are quickly resolved.
  • Establish time management skills for calling on and walking required inspections, as well as creating and managing multiple punch lists & QC items.
  • Maintain a clean jobsite for trade partners, customers, and municipalities.
  • Enforce OSHA safety requirements and Heibar safety program.
  • Cross-train with other associates to learn new skills and scopes as needed for advancement.
  • Develop a commitment to our documented quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers.
  • Participate as a team player in all phases of the organization, and be open and responsive to change.
  • Complete training programs for all scopes within Heibar.
  • Order and inspect materials delivered to site.
  • Supply daily updates through iPad and/or Laptop.
  • Learn to read construction plans as needed by scope.
  • Complete required company-specific training.
  • Approve pay, Invoicing, and Billings.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family, and commercial construction.
  • Concrete/installation skills and knowledge of residential fit and finish installations.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work.
  • Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline.
  • Strong work ethic towards accomplishing goals and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows, Office, Excel, Adobe, and general internet).
  • Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. independently.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certified (required within 3 months of hire).

Compensation:

$65,000/year
