Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of radiation therapy to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Management:
    • Administer radiation treatment according to department policies and procedures.
    • Work with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during treatment.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Treatment Delivery:
    • Operate Linear Accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
    • Use record and verify systems to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
    • Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans as needed.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and address quality issues.
  • Education and Training:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and licensure.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an ARRT certified program.
  • Certification and Licensure: Registered by Arizona State ADHS or Arizona Radiation Therapist License.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
