Automotive Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Porter to join our team at the Gillman Automotive Group. As an Automotive Porter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership's car lot.

• Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to ensure a showroom-quality finish
• Vacuum interiors and trunks to maintain a clean and tidy environment
• Clean all glass components thoroughly to ensure optimal visibility
• Inspect and clean the engine compartment to ensure a safe and efficient vehicle
• Operate the car wash where available to maintain a clean and efficient process
• Follow the quality control checklist to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard
• Attend weekly department meetings to stay informed and aligned with team goals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Up to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be eligible to work in the US and pass pre-employment screening, including a MVR, drug screen, and criminal background check
• Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)

The physical demands of this role include:

• Regularly standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and climbing or balancing
• Frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Occasionally sitting and talking or hearing
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
