Job Overview

Complete Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing month-end financials, reviewing balance sheet accounts, and reconciling bank statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely month-end financial reports for assigned companies.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile bank statements for assigned companies to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile inventory for assigned companies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Update forecasts monthly to reflect current financial trends and projections.
  • Participate in the budget process to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting.
  • Assist in the Year-End Audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform reconciliations and analysis as needed to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately and efficiently perform financial tasks.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, to ensure the timely completion of financial tasks.
  • Knowledge of Sage accounting software is a plus, but not required.
