Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Press Operator to join our team at Multi-Color Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating high-speed printing presses to produce high-quality labels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate flexographic printing presses to produce labels in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain press conditions to ensure optimal print quality and efficiency.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Complete make-ready procedures to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications are met, including visual and functional checks.
  • Operate press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
  • Maintain consistent quality during production runs, including critical quality checks such as copy, color, and registration, and ink adhesion.
  • Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
  • Perform equipment maintenance duties and clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans as needed.
  • Input required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience as a flexo printing press operator or equivalent training.
