Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to enhance operational processes, improve machinery efficiency, prioritize safety, and maintain high product quality standards.
  • Lead the design and execution of Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems. Collaborate with Engineering & Technical Services (E&TS) to assess and integrate new materials.
  • Create and continuously refine preventative maintenance schedules for molds and injection molding equipment, in partnership with E&TS and machinery vendors.
  • Foster ongoing improvements in current operations by identifying opportunities for product and process enhancement. Serve as a primary resource for troubleshooting and repairing molds and equipment.
  • Deliver continuous technical support to manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, optimizing productivity and quality, and achieving delivery objectives.
  • Assist in the evaluation of components and the testing of new products, including the installation of new molds and equipment.
  • Oversee all Pro-T-Con initiatives to develop and implement enhancements in processes, products, and machinery throughout the facility.
  • Establish clear and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for molding machines and associated equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) along with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of injection molding processes, machinery, materials, and mold tooling.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with an emphasis on process enhancement and innovative methodologies.
  • Ability to respond swiftly to situations, showing adaptability in collaborating with personnel and operational resources.
  • A strong ability to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
