Position Summary
Members of the MemorialCare Epic Population Health team collaborate closely with end users to implement the Epic software, manage workflow and software modifications, and ultimately transform healthcare delivery at MemorialCare. Our Epic Team devises innovative strategies to achieve shared objectives while working alongside our end users.
The Sr. Epic Analyst – myChart leverages their extensive Epic expertise throughout all phases of software deployment, from design to implementation and post-implementation support. They independently demonstrate a high level of operational and application build proficiency, focusing on complex and large-scale projects. They also mentor colleagues and conduct educational sessions to enhance workflows, troubleshooting, and system design relevant to the team and internal implementation processes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Utilize advanced Epic myChart capabilities to enhance processes through the design, development, and implementation of the Epic system, including the creation of end-user materials.
- Initiate, engage in, and lead project-related efforts and process enhancements, providing internal guidance as needed.
- Exhibit an independent working style, requiring minimal supervision while collaborating across applications.
- Establish and maintain myChart reporting requirements as necessary.
- Employ effective communication and interpersonal skills across all staff levels, including senior leadership, to achieve set objectives.
- Sustain and enhance patient engagement through MemorialCare's web-based and mobile patient portal.
- Adhere to work schedules and punctuality.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and directives.
- Interact positively and constructively with colleagues.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of Epic application experience with proven success in hands-on modification projects of myChart and its supported operations is required.
- Experience in configuring myChart web server is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize system tools to meet user functionality needs, including proficiency with information systems technology such as Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience in planning and organizing daily activities, effectively managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills to achieve established goals.
- Experience in leading projects, providing consultative guidance on change initiatives, and managing time across multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Proven skills in workflow and data analysis and design techniques, including needs assessment, specification development, quantitative methods, planning, and gap analysis.
- Past success in facilitating meetings among business stakeholders, technical resources, and third parties for business requirements and technical solutions.
- Experience working with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and interacting with all organizational levels.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Epic Certification in Grand Central/Prelude or Cadence application is required.
