Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Actalent is seeking an entry-level Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of blood and plasma products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screening and controlling of materials used in the processing, manufacture, and distribution of blood and plasma products.
  • Performing, interpreting, and troubleshooting laboratory procedures related to unit and/or donor suitability testing.
  • Developing proficiency in laboratory information systems and workflow of samples.
  • Analyzing test results against set controls using manual and automated methods and procedures.
  • Completing maintenance and Quality Control (QC) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science field.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.
Work Environment:

This is a 3rd shift position, working from 10:00pm to 6:30am. The work environment is a laboratory setting.
