Position Overview:

The role focuses on cultivating and enhancing the sales and distribution of Palm Bay's wine portfolio in Illinois, with a particular emphasis on Italian fine wines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage, promote, and sell our Italian wine selections to a designated customer base in Illinois.
  • Initiate cold calls to expand the respective account base.
  • Educate trade partners and consumers about our brands through tastings and events sanctioned by Palm Bay International.
  • Conduct sales activities in the field, managing the transportation of wine samples to accounts daily.
  • Demonstrate a capacity for growth, learning, and adaptation that exceeds prior work experiences.
  • Exhibit fluency in both the language and market applications necessary for capitalizing on fine wine opportunities.
  • Maintain positive relationships and possess knowledge regarding our primary Illinois wholesaler.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of wine and spirits; experience with imported wines and craft spirits is advantageous.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Established network of fine wine accounts and a proactive approach to new business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in Italian is preferred.
