Position Overview: The Guest Services Supervisor is accountable for overseeing all aspects of the front desk operations, which encompasses: employee training, communication across departments, and staff scheduling. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage both short-term and long-term planning for the hotel's front desk operations.
- Develop and propose budgets, labor cost plans, and objectives, ensuring adherence to approved financial guidelines.
- Oversee guest room inventory management.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members to align with The Chatwal's service standards.
- Perform front desk staff duties as necessary to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with operational and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with the housekeeping department.
- Stay informed about pricing, rates, promotions, and packages, ensuring all staff are well-trained in these areas.
- Analyze and resolve guest complaints effectively.
- Establish expectations, lead team members, manage processes, and hold individuals accountable for agreed-upon tasks and timelines.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet customer service objectives.
- Mentor and guide employees to embody The Chatwal's service standards.
