Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to join our team at Unitek Learning. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the development of our nursing program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction
    • Develop and deliver engaging and effective instructional materials and activities to facilitate student learning and achievement of course competencies.
    • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote student growth and development.
    • Supervise and evaluate students in clinical, lab, and simulated clinical experiences to ensure they meet program learning outcomes.
  • Training and Professional Development
    • Participate in ongoing faculty development and training to stay current with best practices in nursing education and program knowledge.
    • Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Administrative
    • Manage student attendance, grades, and records in accordance with FERPA regulations and program policies.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of program assessments and evaluations to ensure quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current and unencumbered RN licensure.
  • Experience in nursing education, clinical practice, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
