Family Court Caregiver

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Court Caregiver to join our team at The Young Women's Christian Association of Ulster County Inc. As a key member of our childcare center, you will provide top-notch care and support to children whose families are involved in open court cases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Coordinate outreach efforts to support families facing underemployment, food insecurity, and mental health challenges
- Connect families with relevant community resources and services
- Develop awareness of the social determinants for mental and physical health
- Organize open-house events with our childcare committee members and community partners to expand direct services and outreach coordination
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills essential
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and community service providers
- Capacity to identify and refer individuals to appropriate services based on individual needs
