We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at The Children's Home of Kingston. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and families within our school setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, experience working with children and families, and a strong understanding of child development and family systems theory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Services:">
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and their families or caregivers within the Grove Street Academy">
  • Communicate with family, community members, and social services liaisons">
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family">
  • Collaboration and Communication:">
  • Work closely with the school Assistant Principal and other multi-disciplinary team members to ensure seamless delivery of services">
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to promote a collaborative and supportive environment">
  • Professional Development:">
  • Participate in ongoing professional education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions">
  • Pursue opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance clinical skills and expertise">
  • Essential Qualifications:">
  • Licensed Master's Level Social Worker, marriage and family therapist or mental health counselor">
  • School Social Worker Certification Preferred">
  • Minimum 3-5 years of previous clinical experience preferred">
  • Salary and Benefits:">

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options.
