Job Summary:

FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for interacting with residents and potential residents to assist with viewing and touring the property, providing accurate information about each apartment home, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objectives and expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations. Exhibit professional leasing techniques and assist with the completion of the monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain appropriate resident files, including forms, leases, and documents in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure the daily integrity and confidentiality of resident files and maintain accurate and organized reporting systems.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures. Report timely any injuries, illnesses, or property damage through the proper reporting channels and forms.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs, document facility and maintenance needs, and ensure timely completion. Ongoing monitoring of the physical asset and identifying concerns with the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in leasing and sales, preferably in the apartment industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
