Key Responsibilities:- Assign and monitor Quality Inspectors/Technicians to perform tasks according to work scope.
- Supervise daily activities, taking necessary action to ensure timely completion and estimated costs.
- Direct the team for maximum efficiency, effective resource use, and accurate labor hour charging.
- Ensure applicable technical data is used, including manufacturers' maintenance manuals.
- Verify inspection personnel are qualified for tasks and identify training needs.
- Monitor work to ensure quality standards and airworthiness.
- Ensure required aircraft maintenance documents and forms are complete and accurate.
- Provide shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSQCM.
- Collaborate with maintenance managers and crew chiefs to achieve on-time delivery and budget objectives.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to company safety and OSHA standards.
- Supervise a continuous safety program, including equipment operation, aircraft systems, housekeeping, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain a focus on Human Factors and drive zero defects in workmanship and safety.
- Supervise a crew of employees, responsible for employee development, performance management, and discipline.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Corporate-related aircraft Initial Maintenance School or verifiable experience.
- FAA Mechanic Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and meet FAR part 65 subpart D requirements.
- Three plus years of leadership experience in an aviation maintenance environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates, strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of QC systems.
- Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, CFR parts 21, 25, 39, 43, 91, 119, 121, 135, and 145.
- A working knowledge of aircraft factory modifications, service bulletins, vendor information, and inspection program requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and project management applications.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
- Associates Degree in an aviation field or aircraft maintenance-related experience equivalency is a plus.
