Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Shop Manager, responsible for completing all assigned tasks and maintaining accurate documentation. Compliance with company policies is essential, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with tank trailer repairs and preps
• Train on 90-day inspections
• Perform tank trailer maintenance
• Assist with brake maintenance
• Train on ABS systems
• Train on FHWA inspections
• Maintain a clean work area
• Follow instructions from the Lead Man
• Maintain a personal tool collection
• Monitor and adhere to inventory management systems
• Follow instructions from Senior Mechanics
• Adhere to current programs and policies to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Frequent standing, bending, and walking
• Ability to withstand weather conditions
• Possess basic tools
• Willingness to work in an open-air workshop
• Tank trailer repair experience preferred
• Basic MIG, TIG welding experience preferred
