Administrative Support Specialist

Job OverviewThis position is responsible for collecting, inspecting, and inventorying personal property of incoming inmates. It requires discretion, confidentiality, and familiarity with policies and procedures established by the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and facility regulations.
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of computerized files.
- Collect, inspect, and inventory personal property of incoming inmates.
- Provide receipts for stored property, maintain safe and secure storage until release.
- Develop and submit reports on stored property and other required reports.
- Prepare property for inmate releases.
- Assist in release process and respond to queries.
- High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Two years of administration support experience preferably in correctional environment.
- Experience in word processing and software programs.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures.
- General clerical aptitude.
