Job Title: Gift Shop Host

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Gift Shop Host to join our team at Newport Aquarium. As a Gift Shop Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and promoting our products to guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, answering questions and making recommendations on products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and processing transactions.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Upsell and promote products to guests, increasing sales and revenue.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
