Business Analyst Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Professional to join our team at the University of Georgia. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and propose solutions based on business processes and identify issues or operational gaps.
- Conduct business analysis for projects and solutions, providing analysis to identify downstream effects and impacts of decisions.
- Document and analyze user business processes and solution/project requirements.
- Serve as the liaison between functional users and technical groups, collaborating with functional users to align operations and pursue both functional and technical process improvements.
- Assist with analyzing and resolving system operational issues, scheduling and monitoring system jobs according to operational calendar.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to apply project management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build connections with functional and technical staff.
- Knowledge of SQL and software development life cycle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
