Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at the University of Georgia. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering business analytics solutions that advance and support the mission of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Associate Director of Business Analytics to develop and implement an overarching enterprise analytics strategy.
- Design and produce required analytics and visualization deliverables using Qlik, PowerBI, and other tools as required.
- Perform analysis of large datasets to drive insights and develop algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create business insights.
- Develop and apply business analytics resources that improve workflow, transparency, accountability, and performance.
- Preprocess and perform exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data.
- Utilize external data sources to augment internally managed information.
- Define, build, use, and maintain machine learning models for predictive analytics.
- Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field.
- Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R, or the equivalent), and experience with databases/SQL.
- Experience with machine learning concepts.
- Experience in data modeling and interpretation of insights from datasets using narratives and visualizations.
- Proficient in using enterprise visualization tools, including Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI, or similar platforms.
