Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager, Digital Transformation is a key member of the Hibbett Retail, Inc. team, responsible for driving the technical aspects of digital projects and ensuring seamless production operations. As the ambassador for the SFCC technical team, this individual will work closely with the digital department to facilitate the discovery, definition, design, technical documentation, development, QA, UAT, and release of all SFCC workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to scope and assign work, schedule, and problem-solve in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to manage the full life cycle of technical efforts, from release/launch to post-launch support.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of e-commerce systems, integrations, and dependencies.
  • Lead meetings, organize teams, and drive the work of others with confidence and excellent communication skills.
  • Build relationships across business and operations teams, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage tasks and issues as a partner to third-party integration partners.
  • Administer and utilize Atlassian's Jira and Confluence tools for documentation and task management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, with commensurate experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in project, program, or product management.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical project/program/product management.
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce platform/SFCC technical project management.
  • Experience in an e-commerce/digital environment.
  • Working knowledge of the corporate retail environment.
  • Fluency in Smartsheet a plus.
  • Consulting experience a plus.
  • SFCC Business Manager experience a plus.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted basic IT principles.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
