Role Overview

The primary responsibility of the Patient Services Coordinator is to ensure a smooth check-in process for patients, verify insurance coverage, manage appointment scheduling, and handle payment transactions for services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and check in patients upon arrival Manage phone inquiries and coordinate appointment scheduling Maintain accurate patient records and accounts Understand and apply insurance protocols effectively Exhibit patience and sensitivity towards patient needs Listen attentively to patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals Confirm patient insurance details Ensure meticulous record-keeping practices Process insurance claims accurately Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Office Manager Participate in team meetings and daily briefings Adhere to company policies and procedures Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Basic computer skills are essential. Experience with dental management software is a plus. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Excellent organizational and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and listening abilities. Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

Work Schedule:

Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM and Saturday, 9 AM - 4 PM
