This opportunity is part of our Electrical Engineering department, supporting a wide range of internal and external clients, including architectural, highway, light rail, heavy rail, bridge, and tunnel projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
  • Consult with project managers to perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery.
  • Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Leverage technical knowledge and experience to address design-related issues or concerns, working closely with project managers through creative problem-solving, client interactions, and task completion to meet project schedules.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project completion using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software.
  • Mentor, train, and review the work of junior engineer staff, providing constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification (depending on discipline)
