Respiratory Care Specialist

As a Respiratory Therapist at Virtua, Inc., you will play a vital role in the treatment, care, and management of outpatients with cardio-respiratory system deficiencies and abnormalities. You will serve as a clinical resource for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and contribute to the overall quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications in a safe and effective manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest non-invasive ventilator care techniques and best practices.
- Provide education and support to patients on disease management, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
- Ensure the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of medical gas equipment.
- Effectively interact with various computer information management systems to document patient care activities.
Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program with an Associate's Degree. Registered or Registry Eligible as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care. BLS and ACLS certification required. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
