About the Role

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in safely transporting students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, providing assistance as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the bus's condition.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing.

  • A competitive starting wage of $22.45-$27.10/HR (DOE).
  • A $5,500 sign-on bonus for new drivers.
