Job Summary:

As a Nursing Assistant in the Med/Surg Department at Dallas Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment. This is a full-time, night shift position that requires a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and a minimum of six months of experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign measurements and medication administration
• Maintain a safe environment, including cleaning and organizing patient rooms
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
• Knowledge of medical terminology
