Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Bob Valenti Auto Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and effective service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Service Order Management: Oversee service orders and the flow of work in the Drive Lane, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Concierge Support: Offer personalized support to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers, maximizing revenue and efficiency.
  • Work Distribution: Distribute work between technicians efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to customers, answering questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Customer Success: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring the Customer Success Index meets or exceeds company standards.
  • Administration: Oversee the administration of warranty claims, as well as training and supervising of service department staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Possess a high level of organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of automotive systems, services, and repairs, as well as relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a service advisor or related role.
