As a Senior Physical Therapist in our Pelvic Health department, you will provide expert physical therapy management to patients under the direction of our Rehabilitation Services Director. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate patients, interpret evaluation findings, and develop treatment plans to achieve established goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and interpret evaluation findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction.
- Establish treatment goals and plans treatment to achieve established goals.
- Initiate discharge planning for physical therapy.
- Implement the treatment plan through direct treatment of the patient, delegate a portion of the treatment plan to appropriate supportive personnel, and coordinate the treatment program with other health care personnel as appropriate.
- Provide advice and education to patients and families.
- Regularly reassess clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment, progress of patients towards goals, and the need for modifying goals and treatment.
- Discharge patients from physical therapy when they have received maximum benefit from physical therapy.
- Provide accurate, timely documentation of physical therapy patient management.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in physical therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum with a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree with certification in physical therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
- Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Certified Clinical Instructor for PT students, preferred.
